Mozam Cats volunteers travelled to Ponta do Ouro to assist at a Protect Ponta clinic held over 15-16 February 2020. We assisted with humanely trapping feral cats for TNR, arriving a day earlier to scout locations, clean traps and started trapping the night before the clinic started.
As well as humanely trapping and caring for feral’s while they recover from surgery, we assist the local community to drop off and collect pets needing to attend the clinic.
It’s wonderful to see how appreciative the local community is of what is being done for them and their pets.
Thank you to Protect Ponta for arranging the two day clinic, Vets on the Road for veterinary care and Hills Pet Nutrition. We are glad to be part of this great initiative benefiting the local Ponta community and most importantly their pets.
Help us attend more clinics by making a small donation towards our travel and supply expenses via our website or Zapper. With your help we can do more!
